Strategic Planning and Business Execution Intern

Job Description

Support planning and strategy function relating to multiple business initiatives, such as balance sheet optimization, customer tiering, senior sponsorship program etc.

Perform marketing support and reporting tasks including, but not limited to, designing of the toolkits and templates, gathering information from branches and analysis of the regional data, creating reports to management and overall presentation.

Enhance business development through effective communication between branches, various product offices and regional office functions.

Participation and exposure to governance framework in APAC region for both business promotion and 1st line of defence; where the incumbent will be involved in the deal screening process, focusing on securing profitability, efficient capital allocation and cross sell opportunities submitted by branches throughout APAC region.

Conduct financial data analysis and track regional portfolio data as well as propose necessary enhancements and action plans

Support the Business Intelligence and analytics team on preparing data and undertaking data support.

Provide relevant insights in business strategy and penetration as regional HQ

Collaborate with stakeholders and teams across the Corporate Banking portfolio, products and overall industry.

Job Requirements

Keen eye for detail and intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Project, PowerPoint, Excel).

Growth mindset and self-starter who is motivated to find opportunities and solutions

Capability to be both people and result oriented

Strong written and spoken English proficiency is needed.

Language proficiency in any other Asian Languages will be useful as the role requires coordination with regional partners.

Willing and able to multi-task and deliver work under demanding timelines and in a fast-moving environment.

Good initiative, communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work efficiently in a team and independently.
Bring fresh perspectives, forms independent opinions, and is open to constructive discussion
