About the Role

TITLE                          Babson College Entrepreneurship Research Conference (BCERC) Student Assistant

PAY RATE                                         $15/hour

THE OPPORTUNITY

The BCERC Student Assistant supports the planning, organization, and execution of the Babson College Entrepreneurship Research Conference (BCERC), one of the leading academic conferences in entrepreneurship research. This role provides hands-on experience in conference management, event operations, data administration, communications, and participant support through administrative and operational support.  Experience using AI to support administrative and operational processes is preferred.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Assist with document preparation, proofreading, and quality assurance.
  • Assist with conference preparation, planning, and execution activities through platforms such as Canvas, Canva, Airtable, Microsoft Office, and CVENT.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives and operational documentation with CoPilot and Claude.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Canvas, Canva, Airtable, Microsoft Office, and CVENT
  • Proficiency with AI

HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK

Hybrid and in-person at Blank Center 103.  Flexible hours: 2-10 per week, depending on needs and student availability.
