About the Role

Intern/Co-op – Spring 2027 Start Date

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday

 Ready to launch your career in commercial construction management? Winter Construction is seeking motivated students to join our team as Project Engineer Interns/Co-ops. This hands-on opportunity provides real-world experience on active commercial construction projects while working alongside experienced project teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the Project Manager and Superintendent in delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

- Review project plans, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance with contract documents.

- Track and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other key project documentation.

- Coordinate with subcontractors to help maintain the schedule and resolve field issues.

- Conduct site walks to monitor progress, assist with quality control, and ensure jobsite safety.

- Attend and contribute to project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and support communication between all stakeholders.

- Assist with procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Building Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field and a strong desire to work in Construction Management.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

- Clear, professional communication skills and a willingness to ask questions and learn.
