About the Role

Location: Vancouver, Canada    |    Employment Type: Part-time Internship    |    Reports to: People & Culture Team

Reporting to the People & Culture Team, we’re looking for a collaborative HR Administrative Intern to join Rival Group. In this role, you’ll help support HR administration, recruitment coordination, and employee data and documentation, working with smart, kind people who care about great work, real collaboration, and having fun while building something meaningful.

This role is open to candidates based in Vancouver, Canada, with a hybrid working model designed to support flexibility, connection, and focused work.

What you’ll own

  • Provide day-to-day People & Culture administration, including data entry, employee file maintenance, updating trackers and spreadsheets, organizing documents, and keeping HR records accurate.
  • Provide recruitment support, including posting jobs, coordinating interviews, updating candidate records in the ATS, preparing interview materials, tracking candidate progress, and supporting recruitment-related follow-ups.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding administration, including system updates, document preparation, reminders, checklists, and coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Help with recurring HR tasks such as data audits, basic reporting, routine requests, and maintaining templates, guides, and process documentation.

What you bring

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; previous HR experience is preferred but not required.
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook, and the ability to learn new HR systems quickly.
  • Strong communication skills, good judgment, and discretion when handling confidential employee and candidate information.
  • A practical, curious mindset and willingness to take ownership of repetitive, detail-oriented tasks while looking for ways to improve processes.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage recurring tasks, meet deadlines, and produce accurate work.
  • A collaborative, dependable approach and a desire to contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.

Nice to have

  • Previous internship, administrative, customer service, office, or coordination experience is an asset.
  • An interest in building a career in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, People Operations, or a related field.
  • Exposure to an HRIS, applicant tracking system, SharePoint, project management tools, or similar workplace technology is an asset.

The hourly rate for this role is CAD $20 with a maximum 15 hour work week.
