Supports fellow students in their financial journey while developing leadership, coaching, and communication skills rooted in service. Mentors others, expands their knowledge of financial wellness, and makes a positive impact on campus.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Provide one-on-one peer financial coaching in areas like budgeting and debt management.
- Attend Peer Financial Coaching training and team meetings to enhance coaching skills and financial knowledge.
- Serve as a campus ambassador by promoting the coaching service through, but not limited to:
- Posting flyers and materials around campus.
- Sharing information in social media groups and campus channels.
- Connecting with student organizations, faculty, and campus offices.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Currently pursuing a college degree
Skills and Abilities:
- Enjoy working with people
- Are interested in mentoring, coaching, or education
- Want to build professional skills in communication, leadership, and problem-solving
- Are curious about careers in financial services, banking, or community-based support roles
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
SCHEDULE: Part-time, flexible
(On-campus internships, two semesters (30 weeks), 10 hours/week)
