Job Description

Position: Intern - Debt Capital Markets Team

Job purpose:

Bank of China (Europe) S.A. is currently looking to hire an intern within the Debt Capital Markets team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with senior team members, will be directly involved in all aspects of a transaction and will be mainly assisting the team to onboard clients via KYC procedures. 

Responsibilities would be, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Support the DCM team with the preparation of transaction and KYC documentation during the execution of debt issuance
  • Occasional support with Business and Compliance reporting and Head Office relations as requested by the department. This encompasses DCM and asset management activities.
  • Admin work related tasks as required by the Department

Qualifications

Profile (Technical Skills):

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration.
  • Preferably some internship experience in the areas of banking, corporate finance or mergers & acquisitions
  • Basic knowledge of financial analysis and modelling methods and a broad understanding of investment banking products
  • Fluent in Chinese and English
