The Role
Must Have
Newport News Shipbuilding will be offering 2027 summer internships to students majoring in bachelor or master’s degree programs including Business, Accounting and Finance. Students will have the opportunity to work 40 hours a week for 10 consecutive weeks during the summer months on a variety of assignments related to their major. All applicants must ensure the information below has been provided when applying for the summer internship program. Applicants must meet the following criteria in order to qualify:
Must be enrolled in a 4-year college/university (or 2+2 program) or master's degree programs for Fall 2027
Minimum GPA of 2.5 or greater
Unofficial transcripts are required when applying. Failure to upload transcripts at time of application will result in automatic disqualification
