Job Description

All candidates must be able to work full-time and provide an Internship Agreement

La Caisse is a Quebec institutional investor with CAD $517,3 billion in assets under management as of December 31st, 2025. La Caisse is one of the largest institutional fund managers in Canada and invests globally in various asset classes such as equities, bonds, real estate, and private placements including infrastructure assets.

 

The Infrastructure portfolio currently includes more than CAD $74,5 billion in assets worldwide, including leading European assets such as Eurostar Group, Sizewell C, Akiem, Streem, ATC Europe, Keolis, and the renewable energy production platform Velto Renewables.

 

Within the Paris Infrastructure team, the selected intern contributes to achieving the business objectives of the team and with the portfolio's performance by assisting in the daily management of portfolio assets. They are responsible for cross-functional projects such as preparing sector research presentations or market analyses in the energy, transport, or public services sectors. Finally, they can be involved in analyzing one or more potential transactions.

 

What you will do

  • Prepare analysis and recommendation documents on portfolio companies (performance, development opportunities, etc.);
  • Produce targeted sector studies (portfolio companies, potential markets to develop, etc.);
  • Contribute to strategic thinking on portfolio development;
  • Participate in drafting recommendations for new investment opportunities;
  • Participate in the creation and review of financial models and in evaluating potential investments;
  • Provide support for the due diligence of investment opportunities;
  • Proactively monitor news and gather information from key sources;
  • Perform any other related tasks requested by the internship supervisor.

What you bring

  • Be a graduate or currently studying at a Grande École or equivalent (Engineering, Business, Sciences Po, Dauphine) with a specialization in finance (M1/M2, Specialized Master's);
  • Proficiency with technological tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.;
  • Mastery of French and English, both spoken and written.
