Questrade Future Leaders Internship Program
Join us in revolutionizing financial services
- Prototype and test early ideas with customers and engineers to validate direction before the team commits to a build
- Work with engineers and designers to ship features on the Questrade platform
- Develop an understanding of the business and participate in key strategic decision-making to generate value and shape the enterprise’s future direction
- Receive 1:1 mentorship and coaching
- Shadow an executive on our leadership team as their Chief of Staff
- Get clarity on what kind of leader you’d like to become, through direct leadership shadowing
In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Partnering closely with engineering, design and data teams to scope, build and ship products that solve real customer problems
- Conducting customer interviews and user research to understand needs, validate problems, and test whether a solution works before committing to building it
- Translating customer and market insights into clear product requirements, prototypes and concepts the team can test and learn from
- Sizing market opportunity and assessing the competitive landscape to identify improvements to existing products as well as net-new products worth building
- Helping prioritize the roadmap and make trade-off decisions on what to build next, balancing customer value, effort and business impact
- Building functional prototypes and proofs-of-concept (using low-code/no-code tools) to validate technical feasibility before committing engineering resources
- Working directly with engineers on technical details, including APIs, data models, and system constraints, to make informed product decisions

- You’re a strong communicator who asks great questions, collaborates well with others, and is excited to learn, get feedback, and grow as a product manager
- You have technical skills (coding, scripting, working with data or APIs) and are comfortable using them to build, test, and validate ideas yourself
- You’ve used AI tooling for both personal productivity and development projects

Base salary range: $70,000 - $80,000

The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada).
