Position Overview: 

As our Quality Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in Quality Engineering and contribute to meaningful projects through the application of cutting-edge technologies in ensuring the safety and integrity of materials and structures.

 

Location: 

On-site in Euclid, Ohio

 

Your Day to Day as a Quality Engineer Intern: 

  • Collaborate with Engineering teams in the Quality Department to support improvement initiatives, work instruction enhancements, problem solving, 3D modeling, etc.
  • Assist in preparing inspection plans, procedures, and reports for different projects.
  • Analyze test results and assist in the interpretation of findings.
  • Support the development and implementation of quality control procedures for NDT and manufacturing processes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot defects or anomalies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspection activities and results.
  • Other engineering tasks and responsibilities as required.

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program in Engineering, Material Science, or a related field. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Basic understanding of materials and their behavior.
  • Experience using CAD software.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

The starting hourly rate for this position in Ohio (US-OH) at the start of employment is expected to be between $25.05 and $29.83 per hour.  The hourly rate offered is based on local job market factors and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.  The company further reserves the right to modify the hourly rate (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation, or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or applicable department/team performance, and other market factors.
