Programme Description:

The Off-Cycle internship is a 6-month programme in Munich beginning January 2027 through June 2027, working across the Strategic Advisory Group. Successful Off-Cycle Analysts will be considered for a Full-Time Analyst return offer pending performance on the job.

The Strategic Advisory Group consists of one of the most experienced investment banking teams in the industry, and has been involved in some of the largest, most complex transactions of the past twenty years.  Our global team focuses on a diverse set of industries, including financial institutions, healthcare, industrials, energy, power & utilities, real estate, and technology, media & telecommunications.

Responsibilities:

Off-Cycle Analysts will work on a wide range of transactions including sellsides, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, recapitalizations, private placements and leveraged buyouts. Off-Cycle Analysts are expected to be involved in the development, structuring and financing of transactions and will have the opportunity to attend internal and client meetings, negotiations, and due diligence sessions. Off-Cycle Analysts work will include: 

• Financial analysis and modeling

• Drafting of client presentations

• Preparation of memoranda for internal and external use

• Conducting financial and other business-related research

• Coordinating complex and often time-sensitive processes  

• Assistance in the execution of transactions

• Active involvement in client facing situations

Qualifications:

Requirements:

To be considered for the 2027 Off-Cycle Analyst Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Currently enrolled as a full-time university student or a recent graduate

• Available to start from January 2027

• Graduation date no later than June 2027

• CV must include expected graduation month/year and grades

• CV must be uploaded in PDF format

• Fluency in German is desirable
