About the role:

As an Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation & Controls Intern, you will support the design, development, testing, and implementation of electrical and control systems supporting nuclear facilities and products.

 

You will report to the department manager and be located at our Rock Hill, SC or Columbia, SC facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid or onsite position for the summer, May - August 2027.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support development of system architecture drawings and schematics
  • Help with hardware design and documentation
  • Support manufacturing and testing activities
  • Help develop technical specifications and procedures
  • Participate in troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Support procurement and manufacturing documentation
  • Help with hardware validation and functional testing

 

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • Completed Sophomore year of college
  • Interest in control systems, instrumentation, or power systems
  • Familiarity with electrical design concepts and drawings

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $25.40 to $29.00 per hour.
