Credit Risk Advisory Intern 

 
Internship Period: 11 January 2027 – 30 June 2027 
 

Job Description 

  • Help set up and support the proactive portfolio management of the Global Corporate and Investment Banking business across APAC 

  • Identify and design appropriate strategies for managing current and potential stressed and distressed clients   

  • Assist with preparation of presentation materials relating to credit risk training and lessons learned sessions to support risk awareness in the relevant teams, and other committee meeting materials as necessary  

  • Support the setup of a Management Information framework to ensure Management is kept apprised of asset quality across the portfolio 

  • Support the monthly credit cost forecast process and annual credit cost budgeting process, including liaison between the First and Second Lines of Defence. 

  • Provide analytical and administrative support to the BRMD-CRA Team 

  • Organise regional meetings across coverage departments and credit divisions  

 

Job Requirements 

  • Basic understanding of credit risk management  

  • Ability to understand and interpret financial statements and credit documentation (eg. loan and security agreements) 

  • Keen eye for detail and intermediate proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint & Excel).  

  • Self-starter, able to prioritise, people and result oriented.  

  • Strong written and spoken English proficiency is needed. 

  • Language proficiency in any other Asian languages will be useful as the role requires coordination with regional partners.  

  • Willing and able to multi-task and deliver work under demanding timelines and in a fast moving environment. 

  • Good initiative, communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work efficiently in a team and independently
