Client Services and Data Management Intern 

 
Internship Period: 11 January 2027  30 June 2027

 

This internship offers hands-on exposure to corporate banking operations, client servicing and relationship management support. The intern will work closely with Relationship Managers to support day-to-day business transactions for large local corporates and multinational companies, while gaining practical experience across banking products, trade settlement and client data management. 

 

 Job Description  

  • Provide hands-on support for daily corporate banking transactions, including deposit placements, loans and trade finance. The candidate will gain end-to-end exposure to transaction booking, client handling, documentation review, funding confirmation and preparation of instruction sheets for Back Office processing. 

  • Assist with transaction settlement by monitoring inflows and outflows, identifying settlement issues, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to support timely resolution. The candidate will develop practical understanding of client touchpoints, international remittance, foreign exchange operations and settlement risk awareness. 

  • Support customer data maintenance, including static data, contact information and business condition updates. The candidate will build an understanding of maker-checker discipline, data quality controls, and how data integrity supports downstream reporting, operational accuracy and overall banking controls. 

  • Support the execution of MO-CSDM initiatives, including stakeholder communication, status tracking, deliverable follow-up and periodic progress updates. The candidate will gain practical exposure to project coordination, issue management and cross-functional collaboration. 

 

Job Requirements 

  • Client-focused, detail-oriented and able to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders. 

  • Proficient in using modern technology and digital tools to process data, generate insights and present information clearly to support business decision-making. 

  • Strong problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks and perform effectively under time pressure. 

  • High attention to detail, patience and a strong sense of responsibility when handling client and transaction-related matters. 

  • Suitable for an individual who is keen to build practical corporate banking experience and contribute to high-quality client service delivery.
