The U.S. Summer Internship Program provides an immersive introduction to the commercial real estate industry and an opportunity to build the foundational skills needed for a career in the field. The program combines hands-on experience with comprehensive on-the-job training led by experienced real estate professionals, covering real estate fundamentals, financial principles, and financial modeling using Excel and Argus Enterprise. The internship is designed to provide meaningful exposure to the business while preparing Summer Interns for potential full-time opportunities with Eastdil Secured Savills following graduation.
We are seeking Summer Interns in the following Eastdil Secured Savills office locations: Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, New York, San Francisco, Santa Monica, and Washington, D.C.
The 2027 U.S. Summer Internship Program begins on Monday, June 14th, 2027, and concludes on Friday, August 6th, 2027.
Essential Functions
- Participate in comprehensive training covering commercial real estate fundamentals, financial analysis, Excel, and Argus Enterprise
- Complete financial modeling, underwriting, and practical exercises across a variety of property types and transaction disciplines
- Analyze property-level financial information, including rent rolls, operating statements, cash flows, comparable properties, and other relevant data
- Conduct company, property, and market research to support transaction-related assignments and presentations
- Participate in case studies and practical exercises designed to develop analytical and commercial real estate finance skills
- Prepare and deliver research presentations and other project-based assignments
- Collaborate with team members on a capstone project that applies skills and concepts developed throughout the internship
- Participate in training sessions, Q&A discussions, and other professional development opportunities
Education and Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with an anticipated graduation date during the 2027-2028 academic year
- Professional experience through internships, part-time or full-time work and/or extra-curricular activities
Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated interest in building a career in financial services, with a focus on commercial real estate finance
- Ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced, and highly focused environment
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented
- Strong sense of personal accountability and commitment to achieving results
