About the Role

The Opportunity
As a QEHS Management Systems Specialist Intern, you will work alongside our corporate QEHS team to support the systems that help MAPEI maintain consistent quality, environmental, health, and safety practices across the organization. You will gain hands-on experience with management-system documentation, audits, compliance activities, performance data, and continuous improvement initiatives. This experience may lead to future opportunities in quality, environmental health and safety, compliance, auditing, or management systems. 

  • Support MAPEI’s quality, environmental, health, and safety management systems.
  • Assist with system documentation, procedures, records, and document control.
  • Support internal audits, assessments, findings, and corrective-action tracking.
  • Collect and analyze quality, environmental, health, and safety data.
  • Assist with reports, presentations, training materials, and system communications.
  • Research regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
     

The Program Details

  • Full-time schedule (40 hours per week)
  • Internship duration: May–August 2027 (12 weeks)
  • Practical, hands-on learning with MAPEI’s corporate QEHS team
  • Host location: Deerfield Beach, FL

What you bring

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in EHS, Quality Mgmt, Environmental Science, or a related field (juniors/seniors preferred). 
  • Strong communication skills, initiative, curiosity

  • Willingness to travel
