About the Role

The Opportunity
As an Information Technology (IT) Specialist Intern, you will work alongside our IT team to provide technical support to MAPEI employees and assist with day-to-day technology operations. You will gain hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware, software, network access, and user-account issues while learning how an enterprise IT function supports the organization. This experience may lead to future opportunities in technical support, systems administration, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or other IT roles.

  • Respond to technical support requests and assist with resolving user issues.
  • Troubleshoot computers, software, printers, mobile devices, and connectivity.
  • Assist with computer setup, software installation, and new-user onboarding.
  • Support user accounts, passwords, permissions, and access requests.
  • Document service requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
  • Help maintain IT equipment inventory and support equipment deployments.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve or escalate technical issues.
     

The Program Details

  • Full-time schedule (40 hours per week)
  • Internship duration: May–August 2027 (12 weeks)
  • Practical, hands-on learning with MAPEI’s IT team
  • Host location: Deerfield Beach, FL

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s/graduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field (juniors/seniors preferred). 
  • Strong communication skills, initiative, curiosity
