About the Role

The Opportunity
As a Concrete Admix Technical Sales Specialist Intern, you will work alongside our Concrete Admixtures sales and technical teams to support customers and learn how admixture technologies improve concrete performance. You will gain hands-on experience through customer visits, field trials, technical presentations, product demonstrations, and sales-support activities. This experience may lead to future opportunities in technical sales, field services, product support, or other commercial roles.

  • Support technical assistance for customers and concrete-industry partners. 
  • Participate in customer visits, field trials, and product demonstrations. 
  • Help evaluate product performance and document field-trial results. 
  • Conduct market research and competitive product analysis. 
  • Assist with laboratory testing and other technical projects.
     

The Program Details

  • Full-time schedule (40 hours per week)
  • Internship duration: May–August 2027 (12 weeks)
  • Remote, travel-based role with a focus on the Upper Midwest, Texas, MN, and/or Central East Coast
  • Regular travel to customer locations, job sites, and MAPEI facilities

What you bring

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Concrete Industry Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (juniors/seniors preferred) 
  • Interest in concrete technology, technical sales, customer support, or construction materials 
  •  Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills 
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including overnight travel 
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet MAPEI’s driving requirements
