Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct experiments, analysing and processing experimental data, analyzing and sorting out unqualified data
  • Research activities might include – cell culture, protein purification, concentration test, SDS-PAGE, Western blot analysis, endotoxin test, HPLC and LC-MS test analysis of protein samples
  • Setting up experiments, running samples and writing experimental records
  • Participate in multiple R&D projects as part of the field project team
  • Responsible for proper documentation of experimental records
  • Participate in routine lab hygiene activities including 5S of work areas, stocktaking and consumable replenishment and performing routine checks and maintenance on the equipment to ensure it is working correctly
  • Following all safety protocols and SOPs to ensure that a safety working environment is provided for all.
  • Complete other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor

Key Requirements

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or equivalent
  • Familiar with the experimental operation of SDS-PAGE, Western blots, LC-MS, HPLC and other protein detection
  • Good troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Good team working skills
