About the Role

FamilySearch International, the largest genealogy organization in the world, is looking for three interns. These individuals will be involved in designing, planning, supporting, and carrying out experiences at RootsTech, in both the online and in-person aspects of the conference and supporting other FamilySearch events. RootsTech is an annual genealogy conference that hosts millions of people online in over 11 languages. The event is enhanced by in-person experience, at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

One of these internships will last for a period of one year, two will last six months from the date of hire, and responsibilities will center around delivering our online program, including content management, support for content in more than 20 languages while working alongside the full RootsTech team for the creative planning and delivery of the event.

Event team members must have high energy and strong personal commitment to meeting deadlines, serving the audience first, and delivering with the highest levels of personal integrity.  Event management requires flexibility, problem solving skills, customer service in a high pressure and fast paced environment.  Our team works hard and creates a fun and rewarding environment.
