The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for a Junior for our Business/Systems Analyst internship for Summer 2027. Under close Supervision you will provide customer support, customer training, develop standard operating procedures, and support all functional phases of the software development life cycle (requirements, design, testing, training, production support) to support the Operation and Maintenance of a DoD application.

  • Troubleshoot existing functionality and enhancements in an Oracle Federal Financials ERP implementation.
  • Serve as an integral member of a close-knit functional team under the management of a Functional Lead.
  • Work with the team to understand and resolve software problems, resolves customer complaints with software, and respond to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with other business analysts to gather system requirements and produce detailed requirement and functional specification documents to solve moderately complex problems within our financial applications.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure requirements are fully understood, collaborate on application designs, and aid with overcoming obstacles faced during development.
  • Conduct system testing at the development site to validate requirements.
  • Continuously analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and identify solutions to new and emerging business processes.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Must be able to pass a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Demonstrate ability to provide professional and timely customer support
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to become proficient in the use of an enterprise-wide financial database and to train other users in such a system.
  • Communicate effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Desire to work in an Agile environment.
  • Must currently be enrolled in a full-time Undergraduate program in computer science or related field
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance

Desired:

  • Experience with supporting software applications.
  • Experience gathering system requirements and testing.
  • Interest in and/or comfort with presenting to an audience a plus.  
  • Passion for learning complex business applications and getting into the details of why and how something works.
  • Pertinent certifications attained (ITIL, Security+, etc.).
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, not required
  • Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$39,900-$79,900
