At Keros, our mission is to deliver significant clinical benefit to a wide range of patients with disorders that are linked to dysfunctional signaling of the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-ß) family of proteins. With a focus on developing differentiated product candidates that are designed to alter TGF-β signaling, we aim to target the pathways critical for the growth, repair and maintenance of blood cells and a number of tissues, including bone, skeletal muscle, adipose and heart tissue. Job Summary
Keros is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented co-op student to join the dynamic, fast-paced, and growing bioanalytical team from January to June, 2027. This position will play an important role in aiding the establishment of pharmacokinetic and immunogenicity assays critical to support our clinical and non-clinical studies. This person will have the opportunity to participate in the development of novel therapies for diseases and work on a project important to Keros’ mission.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support pharmacokinetic, immunogenic, and biomarker discovery assay qualification efforts by reviewing relevant literature, selecting and evaluating the performance of various experimental assays. Test study samples, analyze and interpret data to support preclinical and translational activities.
- Maintain an organized work area and record experiments and data in electronic notebook
- Analyze experimental data and present your work at team meetings and/or larger audiences.
- Participate in collaborative meetings with Contract Research Organization (CRO) partners.
Core Competencies (Required Skills)
- Previous experience with one of the following experimental assays:
- Protein detection methods
- Immunogenicity assays
Preferred Skills
- Experience in protein detection methods (MSD, ELISA etc.) preferred
Education Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in the life sciences, biotechnology, or a related field
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, and other relevant factors.
