About the Role

Support Corporate Solutions department on actuarial tasks for Group Life, Group Medical and Pension businesses.

This role contributes to the delivery of customer outcomes that are reliable, thoughtful, and create meaningful impact for customers and society. The role holder is expected to embed a customer first mindset in all decisions and actions by developing a clear understanding of customer needs, taking end to end ownership to resolve issues, and working collaboratively across teams to continuously enhance the customer journey—both directly and indirectly.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Group Life and/or Group Medical manual rate studies and budget projection
  • Perform claims analysis on Group Life and/or Group Medical packaged products and generate product financials
  • Conduct market research and segmentation analysis on Group Medical products
  • Perform reinsurance tasks for Group Life and/or Group Medical
  • Assist in automation of data analytic tools
  • Prepare pension quotations and related financial assessment
  • Ad-hoc projects as needed

Requirements:

  • University students major in Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Insurance or Finance with strong mathematics background
  • Good analytical and communication skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) or other computer programming language is an advantage
