WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS AN ACCOUNTING INTERN?

As an Accounting Intern at Journey Group, you will support daily accounting operations by assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including accurate data entry, reconciliations, and journal entries. The intern will provide administrative and project-based support to the Controller and work collaboratively with the accounting team and cross functional departments to ensure efficient and timely financial operations. 


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED

To excel in the Accounting Intern role at Journey Group, candidates should be currently pursuing a degree in an accounting or finance related field, ideally at a Junior or Senior standing. Prior experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office are essential for handling tasks efficiently. Candidates must be adept at multitasking, problem-solving, and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
