The Health Economics & Market Access (HEMA) Intern will learn key HEMA competencies like (i) performing literature reviews (ii) turning this evidence into the development of value propositions that can be used to support one or more of the following: new evidence generation, claims development and/or value-based selling tools. The intern will be involved in foundational Health Economics and Market Access activities aiming at facilitating health technology assessment (HTA) and market access uptake to payers and providers  for EMEA and local markets.

REPORTING TO

Health Economics & Market Access Lead Italy and Spain

What you will do:

  • Supporting literature searches/reviews on clinical & health economic evidence
  • Critically assess published clinical and health economic evidence
  • Analyzing and drawing insights from data
  • Supporting creation of content to execute value-based strategies
  • Supporting projects and/or process improvement initiatives 
  • Assisting, reviewing or adapting simple health economic tools
  • Assist in transforming evidence into impactful value stories tailored to the needs of clinicians, hospital administrators and payers.
  • Support of local affiliates in local evidence summaries development
  • Participate in strategic and operational projects focused on evidence dissemination, value communication and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor´s Degree in Health Economics, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Economics or Epidemiology or a related area and currently enrolled in a Master’s program.
  • Fluent English.
  • Excellent oral (including group presentations) and written communication skills, as well as solid organizational and time management abilities are required.
  • Strong attitude to work in teams
  • Good level of computer skills (Microsoft Office Software) and AI implementation

Desirable Requirements:

  • Health Economics tools development skills
  • Knowledge of basic science, clinical trial research, and regulatory guidelines/regulations related to clinical research.
  • Literature search experience
