We are seeking a Social Work Intern to join the Behavioral Health Urgent Care in North Philadelphia, PA

 

Position Details

A master’s level clinical intern is a key member of Merakey’s interdisciplinary clinic based behavioral health team.  In this role, the intern supports the team by coordinating care, providing resources, conducting brief screening and intake processes, and delivering brief therapeutic interventions. All services are provided to adults within a multidisciplinary clinic setting. The role includes maintaining accurate clinical documentation, supporting administrative process, and participating in weekly supervision. The intern collaborates with clinicians, prescribers, peers, case managers and external entities to support the delivery of whole person care. This internship emphasizes skill development, ethical practice, cultural humility, and the integration of clinical theory into real world therapeutic work.

Qualifications
