Summary

As an Accounting Intern, you will work alongside experienced accounting and finance professionals, gaining practical exposure to key controllership functions while contributing to meaningful projects that support the business. This long-term, in-person internship offers valuable opportunities to develop technical accounting skills, strengthen analytical capabilities, and build a foundation for future career growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with a variety of accounting and financial reporting activities, including:
    • Daily and weekly reporting
    • Monthly account reconciliations
    • Journal entry preparation and processing
    • Financial data analysis and ad hoc reporting
  • Partner with accounting team members to support ongoing business and financial initiatives.
  • Analyze financial data and help identify trends, discrepancies, or opportunities for process improvement.
  • Participate in special projects that provide exposure to different areas of accounting and finance.

Typical Education

  • Currently enrolled in a nationally accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Must have successfully completed at least one Intermediate Accounting course.
  • Junior standing or higher.

Relevant Experience

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a willingness to learn new systems and tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
