About the Role

Company Description

  • Bosch first started its operations in Vietnam in 1994 and registered a wholly-owned subsidiary in 2008. According to the business strategy of Bosch in Vietnam, from 1st July 2014 on all business entities were merged into Bosch Vietnam Co. Ltd. with its head office at Ho Chi Minh City plant (HcP) in Dong Nai Province.
  • HcP has started its belt assembly in a rented building on 1st August 2008 as the assembly plant of Tilburg Plant (TbP). On 14th April 2011, HcP celebrated the inauguration of the new plant (Lth101 with 17,000 sqm), which did not only allow to increase the production depth, but also to facilitate the push belt assembly of this high-tech product. On 3rd July 2012 HcP marked a big milestone by starting to produce the second component (loop-set) for its push belt. Since November 2012, HcP doubled the production floor space and increase the net total floor space up to 56.000 m², and have successfully increased its production capacity and realized a lot of new line SOP’s.

Job Description

  • Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the assigned projects. 

  • Performance overall quality control of the work and report regularly on project status. 

  • Contractor management: to meet HcP Management expectation on compliance, safety, security, good 5S/housekeeping with transparent way.                                                  

  • Manage construction housekeeping, PPE, 5S at construction sites, contractor workshop. 

  • Prepare training material and hold contractor weekly toolbox meeting for safety topic discussion. 

  • Daily manage construction site safety condition, safety behavior for all construction activities according to Bosch/Local regulation.                                 

  • Report Weekly plan of contractor’s activities.                                                  

  • Zero LTI (Loss Time Interruption), Zero violate Bosch rule, safety training and local law, Zero incident, Zero compliance.                                                 

  • Testing & commissioning with operation team, Support HSE on scaffolding inspection, HSE safety release, Contractor's equipment inspection.                                         

  • Project involves Type B, C. 

  • Civil management, Layout management, Site Assessment, safety structure.     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction, or related fields. Knowledge of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is a plus.
  • Additional knowledge or experience in Project Management is an advantage. 

  • Basic knowledge of CAD, BIM, 3D, and Adobe Photoshop. 

  • Basic understanding of Risk Management, Safety, 5S, and violation awareness. 

  • Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint. 

  • Strong target- and result-oriented mindset with good cost awareness.
