Our Summer Analyst Programme is aimed at penultimate year students and is designed to provide a unique insight into global world of finance.  Summer Analysts will observe and experience the whole bond and loan origination process, from market analysis to client marketing as well as interaction with syndicate and our sales and trading platform.

What to Expect

Our 10-week Summer Analyst programme is designed to provide you with a unique insight into investment banking. Starting off with a week of technical training, you’ll gain a deep understanding of our products and markets. Then armed with this knowledge, you will have the opportunity to join our Capital Markets Team:

• Gain exposure to the full bond and loan origination process.
• Conduct company, industry, and primary and secondary market analysis.
• Support client marketing and prepare presentation materials.
• Assist with the documentation process.
• Work with the syndicate team and MUFG’s sales and trading platform.

As part of a select intake, you will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best professionals in the industry and will be allocated a buddy to make sure you have all the support to get the most out of the summer Analyst.

Our Summer Analyst Programme serves as a pipeline into the full-time MUFG Analyst Programme, and successful interns may receive an offer to join the full-time Analyst Programme the following year.
