About the Role

Job Description

What is the opportunity?

RBC Capital Markets is looking for a driven, curious co-op/intern to join our Client Management team — a front-row seat to how global transaction banking works at one of the world's leading financial institutions. You'll work directly with some of the most sophisticated clients in the industry, including global financial institutions and broker-dealers.

What will you do?

  • Drive the end-to-end lifecycle of client accounts — from new openings and product set-ups to closures and maintenance requests for our global financial institution and broker-dealer clients.
  • Serve as a key point of contact, fielding and resolving client requests and inquiries related to GTB products and services.
  • Partner directly with Analysts, Associates and Relationship Managers to tackle real client issues in real time.
  • Dig into data and extract actionable insights that fuel the team's strategic initiatives — with a focus on empowering client self-sufficiency.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Working towards a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related program
  • Completing your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of studies
  • Returning to school after the work term end date of April 2027, or if graduating in April 2027, requiring the work term as a mandatory component to graduate
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Sharp business acumen with solid analytical, communication, and presentation abilities
  • A knack for problem-solving and the ability to think strategically
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to juggle priorities and manage time effectively

Nice to have:

  • A fast learner who thrives on absorbing new business concepts and putting them into practice
  • Exposure to financial services with a broad understanding of banking products and services
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM tools
  • A high-level understanding of corporate cash management products and cross-border payments

What's in it for you?

  • Mentorship from leaders who are genuinely invested in your growth — through hands-on coaching and stretch opportunities
  • A seat on a dynamic, collaborative, high-performing team where your contributions matter from day one
  • Meaningful, challenging work that builds real-world capital markets expertise — supporting clients at the highest level in global transaction banking
  • The chance to build lasting relationships and expand your professional network across RBC Capital Markets
