Sustainable Finance Intern

Internship Period: 11 January 2027 – 30 June 2027

Overview

Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and assisting clients reach their sustainability targets by structuring financing solutions? Are you excited by structuring client deals? If yes, then this internship is for you!

Job Description:

This is a front office role in Asian Investment Banking Division (AIBD). You will be:

•    Assisting senior Sustainable Finance team members in promoting Sustainable Finance in APAC, including the origination and structuring of Sustainable finance transactions
•    Supporting business development and marketing initiatives such as analysing the market, data analysis of the client targets, rating tools
•    Developing/enhancing products
•    Preparing marketing materials/ reports / business management reports
•    Supporting on MUFG led industry events
•    Partnering with various RM and product areas to develop and market Sustainable finance products
•    Receiving cross-product experience across Debt Capital Markets, Project Finance, Transaction Banking – from a Sustainable Finance perspective

Job Requirement:

Skill set

•    High Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, Word
•    Excellent oral and writing skills
•    Data Analytics (be comfortable in generating a story from numbers)
•    Interests/passion for Sustainability and/or Sustainable finance
•    Keen to read research papers and keep up with latest innovations
•    Mandarin language proficiency would be advantageous, as the role may involve supporting Mandarin-speaking stakeholders

This internship role is based in Singapore. It is open to Singaporean and PR students only. In Singapore, MUFG internship partners include National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Management University, Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).
