About the Role

What You’ll Do

During your internship, you will:

  • Apply analytical and technical skills to real business challenges involving financial processes, data and enterprise systems
  • Use SQL and other tools to analyze data, support reporting needs, and help investigate and solve business problems
  • Support projects involving business process analysis, requirements gathering, data mapping and other technical solutions
  • Collaborate with finance, technology and other partners to understand business needs and help develop practical solutions
  • Learn Gallup’s Oracle environment and develop an understanding of the systems and processes that support areas such as revenue management, contract management and reporting
  • Take ownership of project work by asking questions, seeking information and proactively working through problems with support from experienced teammates

What You Need

  • Enrollment in a bachelor’s or graduate degree program in fintech, business, business analytics, data analytics, computer science, MIS, engineering or a related field required
  • Classroom or work experience with SQL preferred
  • Classroom or work experience in financial, business or data analytics preferred
  • Familiarity with Oracle software preferred
  • Enrollment at a college or university within a 250-mile radius of Omaha, Nebraska, required
  • Anticipated graduation between August 2027 and May 2028 preferred; will consider 2029 graduates
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks during the summer of 2027 required
  • A commitment to working on-site at Gallup’s Omaha office Monday through Thursday required, with the option to work remotely on Friday
  • Eligibility to work in the United States required; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship
