We’re looking for a Data Analyst Intern - (Spring 2027) to join our team and help turn data into insights that drive better decisions. This opportunity is ideal for a student who enjoys working with data, uncovering patterns, and solving problems. You’ll gain hands-on experience in person in analytics, reporting, and data visualization while collaborating with business and technical teams in a supportive and learning-focused environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources for analysis and reporting.

  • Assist in building dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.

  • Identify trends, correlations, and insights to support business decisions.

  • Support ongoing data projects, including data modeling, process improvements, and system integrations.

  • Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and business users to understand needs and provide actionable information.

  • Document data processes and maintain accuracy and consistency across reports.


Preferred Skills or Industry Knowledge:

  • Understanding of business analytics concepts and data visualization techniques.

  • Familiarity with SQL or other database query languages.

  • Basic knowledge of predictive analytics, statistics, or data modeling.

  • Experience with analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, R, or Python.

  • Interest in learning how data supports decision-making within industrial or technology-driven environments.


Knowledge and Expertise for This Role:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.


Location: This position is an in person role located in Sioux Center, IA or Sioux Falls, SD. No remote work.

Travel: Minimal travel may be required for training and team collaboration.
