In the role of an Electrical Intern, we'll count on you to:

  • Gain real-world experience on exciting projects and learn how electrical design integrates into the broader engineering process
  • Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to assist in the design of electrical power and lighting systems for buildings and sites
  • Support the preparation of construction documents and specifications under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Participate in routine engineering tasks across various project phases, from concept through construction
  • Engage with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professional development programs 
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and project goals

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA  
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SKM PTW, ETAP, AGi32, Visual) 
  • Preference given to local candidates 


Required Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
  • Attention to detail
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
