Compensation: $25 per hour
Days/Hours: On-site, Monday to Friday

Savage is seeking a high-performing junior or senior student for a 3-month internship within our accounting group for Summer 2027. This internship provides structured exposure across accounting, offering a well-rounded foundation in corporate finance.
This role is designed for students who are ready to move beyond basic coursework and contribute meaningfully to business operations. Interns will work closely with leaders and team members across multiple accounting functions, gaining hands-on experience and visibility into enterprise-level financial strategy.

What you’ll be doing:
- Reconcile and oversee critical general ledger accounts
- Learn and contribute to the month-end close process
- Acquire comprehensive knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning and accounting systems used for Data collection, reconciliations, and reporting
- Routine communication with the accounting team on results
- Assist the Financial Reporting team with other projects as time allows
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Self-motivated and a team player with a “can-do” attitude
- Understanding of accounting concepts and their application
- Experience working and collaborating in a team environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Education:
- Currently pursuing an accounting degree or finance degree, minimum GPA 3.3
Here are some of the physical requirements for this role:
- Position is largely sedentary in a climate-controlled office environment
- Sitting for extended periods of time, up to 6-10 hours per day, while working at a computer or desk
- Frequently uses hands and fingers for keyboarding, writing, and operating office tools
- Reads printed materials and computer screens, adjusts focus, and maintains attention to detail
- Hears and speaks frequently to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, or via virtual platforms
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and reach office-related supplies, files, chairs, and carts
- Ability to move for short periods between work areas to attend meetings or retrieve materials
- Exposed to standard office-related materials and substances, with low-to-moderate noise levels
- If applicable, during operations visits, you may be required by the site or customer to wear PPE, including but not limited to respirators, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed footwear, fire-resistant and/or high-visibility clothing, and hearing protection
