Charter Casting Woodstock (formally known as

About the IT Support Technician Internship:

Gain hands-on experience providing technical support by setting up new computers, configuring handheld scanners and printers, and resolving employee technology issues through our ticketing system.

Program structure:

  • Schedule: Part-time (15-20 hours/week) during the academic year and full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer.

  • Location: Woodstock, IL

  • Start Date: January 2027

  • Duration: Year-round internship

What we're looking for:

  • Enrollment in a two-year or four-year degree program in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level.

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.                          

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.

  • Ability to succeed in a team environment.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.

What you'll focus on:

  • End-user IT support: software installation, hardware set-up and delivery within our ticketing system.

  • Participate in Continuous Improvement projects.

  • Document and improve processes.

The entry hourly rate for this position is $24.25 per hour. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on year of study in school. Internship positions are not benefits-eligible.Internship positions are not benefits-eligible.
