TRIUMF’s student program typically hires ~40 students each term from across all disciplines who hang together socially and professionally during the term, and beyond. Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with miscellaneous Stores tasks as required such as: convenience packaging of small parts, putting away stock, serving customers, answering the telephone, data entry, unloading trucks, which may involve the use of a forklift, as well as other related tasks as required. Is familiar with TRIUMF’s safety and security related policies as they relate to the SCM-Logistics group, which will include issuing dosimeters and entry of visitors to the site.
• Maintaining Stores inventory by performing tasks such as: inventory replenishments, inventory analysis, maintaining the inventory catalog by keeping supplier and item attributes up to date (part numbers, prices, order points…).
• Supporting with shipping and receiving tasks such as: receiving inventory and non-inventory goods, gathering quotations for shipping requests and processing shipments.

Salary is commensurate with academic progress and previous relevant work experience, and ranges from $ 2815 to $ 4238 per month including 4% vacation pay.
