The Opportunity   
 

TC Energy is hiring Technicians and Technical/Trades Student Interns in Virginia and surrounding states to support a variety of engineering disciplines and business areas.

We are seeking students currently enrolled in an accredited Engineering program, including Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software/Computer Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.

You will gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced professionals, applying your academic knowledge to real-world projects and helping support the safe and reliable delivery of energy across North America.

Through collaboration, mentorship and practical experience, you'll gain insight into our business while contributing to work that matters. Minimum Qualifications  

  • Currently enrolled in Technical / Trades degree or certification program

  • Completion of at least one academic term prior to the start of the work term in May 2027

  • Returning to full-time studies immediately following the work term

  • Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the work term.

  • Ability to multi-task effectively, with strong organizational and time management skills
