Do you want to help write the next chapter of our story? We are looking for a Marketing Intern for our Skincare team based in New York City, New York. The internship will begin during the month of November and and last for a minimum of 6 months, 35 hrs/week.

 

*Please only apply if you are available to work a minimum of 35 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months and are available in-person in New York City on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

 

The role:

You will provide support for the Marketing team by analyzing, reviewing and reporting on all competitive activity (products, marketing campaigns, etc.). You will also help organize and track new launches, line extensions, and reformulations on an ongoing basis.

 

What you’ll do:

In an environment where collaboration and expertise thrive, you will work with a team of experts at Clarins where commitment to responsible beauty is at the heart of our brand. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • COMPETITVE ANALYSIS - Review, analyze and present the competitive launches to be presented in monthly meetings and shared with Global team on an ongoing basis.
    1. Monitor competitive brands on their products, claims, messaging, marketing campaigns, and reviews.
    2. Create competitive pricing analysis.
  • MARKET/DATA ANALYSIS - Analyze the US market based on Circana data on a quarterly basis, identifying the drivers and restrainers of the market (segments/brands) and building reports/presentation slides that give a detailed and complete business review of the market and brand performances.
    1. Manage weekly sell-thru analysis for Clarins’ products.
  • BRAND SUPPORT - Assist team in all marketing efforts including:
    1. Tracking creative routes to help team adhere to deadlines
    2. Monitoring and organizing marketing product closet and place order requests when needed.
    3. Shipping out and tracking products to support our marketing initiatives
    4. Issuing Creative requests and project briefs for launches and other projects.
  • MEETING PREPARATION & PARTICIPATION - Assist in preparing for meetings (PowerPoint presentations, conference room setup, etc) and attend meetings

 

You are:

  • Detail oriented with strong project management skills
  • Multi-tasker with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, including prioritizing and paying close attention to detail
  • Hands on and resourceful with the ability to work independently
  • Customer-focused, results-oriented and passionate about our brand
  • Genuinely looking forward to new challenges
  • Eager to learn with a positive attitude

 

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Communications or related fields 
  • Experience in the beauty, fashion or luxury industry, preferably in marketing roles
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (required)
  • Demonstrate strong technical acumen for troubleshooting and problem solving

Salary: $18.00 per hour
