The Service Delivery Intern supports the Service Delivery team by assisting with client service coordination, help desk intake, ticket documentation, scheduling support, and follow-up on service requests. This internship provides hands-on exposure to how technology services are delivered to clients, including communication between clients, service delivery coordinators, technicians, and engineers. Under supervision, the intern develops practical skills in customer service, service ticket workflows, documentation, prioritization, and basic technical troubleshooting while learning how the Service Delivery team helps ensure timely, accurate, and professional support.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Service Delivery team with intake, documentation, scheduling, and follow-up for client service requests.
  • Learn and use service management tools to update tickets, capture accurate notes, track next steps, and support service workflow visibility.
  • Support client communication by helping gather information, confirm details, and provide professional follow-up under supervision.
  • Coordinate with technicians, engineers, and service delivery leadership to help move service requests forward appropriately.
  • Assist with basic help desk support and troubleshooting activities under direct supervision.
  • Help maintain accurate documentation, process notes, and internal service delivery resources.
  • Observe and learn best practices for prioritizing work, communicating status, and supporting a positive client experience.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong customer service mindset and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to document information accurately, follow processes, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to ask questions, learn service delivery workflows, and seek guidance from the technical team.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining follow-through on assigned tasks.
  • Interest in technology services, client support, service coordination, or technical operations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s degree program pursuing a major or minor in Information Technology
  • Prior customer service, office, help desk, scheduling, or administrative experience is helpful but not required.
