About the Role

Key Duties and Responsibilities
 

  1. Support student intake and induction activities, including the preparation of Personal Tutor groupings and course guidance sheets for all schools.

  2. Assist in monitoring the student attendance system, perform weekly data collection and reporting, and support attendance record verification.

  3. Provide administrative support for undergraduate January intake activities, examination boards, student progression, and academic records management.

  4. Assist with MPU administration, courses verification of completion for schools, and monitoring the annual progression of Postgraduate Research (PGR) students.

  5. Support the preparation and organization of documents and data for MQA accreditation exercises, quality assurance activities, and academic audits for all schools. To support compilation of data of 5 years for programme handbook, meeting minutes and course files.

  6. Provide administrative and logistical support for Summer and Winter programmes, school events, and special activities, including procurement, catering, venue arrangements, and attendance monitoring.

  7. Participate in department meetings, support departmental initiatives, and contribute to process improvements and continuous enhancement activities.

  8. Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor in support of the department's operations and University events.
