About the Role

About The Role

The Intern, Group Human Resource (HR) Business Partnering and Capability Development will work closely with Group HR Business Partnering, Group Capability Development, and local HR teams across DKSH's Consumer Goods Business Unit in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to strategic people initiatives, including organizational design, capability building, performance management, and data-driven HR reporting across 14 markets.

What You Will Deliver

  • Support Group HR in partnering with business leaders and local HR teams across 14 APAC markets to drive impactful people outcomes
  • Assist in collecting, consolidating, and analyzing HR data to generate actionable plans that support informed workforce decision-making
  • Prepare HR dashboards, business updates, and reports using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to enhance data visibility for leadership
  • Assist in reviewing personnel cost trends, workforce utilization, and organizational effectiveness metrics to support strategic planning
  • Support organization structure reviews and workforce planning exercises to ensure alignment with evolving business needs
  • Assist in maintaining organization charts and tracking structural changes across markets with accuracy and timeliness
  • Analyze headcount movements, span of control, and workforce allocation to support planning and resource optimization
  • Assist in reviewing the progress and implementation of the Sales incentive framework across markets, and consolidate presentations on framework status for leadership review
  • Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including sessions conducted, attendance, learning hours, training recommendations, and pre- and post-test scores to support capability reporting
  • Coordinate with market trainers to update local training calendar dates and ensure seamless scheduling across markets
  • Provide recommendations and feedback to the Consumer Goods (CG) Capability Manager based on KPI tracking to improve market trainer support and program roll-out effectiveness
  • Propose secure methods to conduct online pre- and post-tests that prevent leakage or collaboration, and suggest ways to enhance market trainer engagement in delivering the DKSH Sales Way program
  • Coordinate with local teams to ensure smooth training session logistics, including training room booking, hotel arrangements, and meal coordination
  • Support the development of competency assessment tools to strengthen organizational capability frameworks
  • Improve and redesign leadership presentations, HR reports, and workshop materials to enhance clarity, visual impact, and strategic relevance
  • Create visually compelling and business-oriented PowerPoint presentations for executive-level audiences, translating data and analysis into clear business insights
  • Support Group HR projects and ad-hoc strategic initiatives, coordinating meetings, workshops, and stakeholder follow-ups to ensure timely progress
  • Maintain project trackers and ensure the timely delivery of milestones across ongoing HR initiatives

What You Bring

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or related fields
  • One to two years of experience in HR, project management, or creating leadership-level presentation decks is an advantage
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis, and charts
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint with the ability to create executive-level presentationsComfortable working with HR data, dashboards, and reporting tools
  • Basic project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with HR systems or data visualization tools is an advantage
