Want to gain real-world experience in manufacturing while building the foundation for your future career? Our 10-week Manufacturing Management Internship gives students the opportunity to work side-by-side with experienced leaders, explore key areas of operations and contribute to projects that make a real impact. 

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Dive into daily plant operations and learn how a high-performing manufacturing facility runs. 

  • Lead or support projects that improve safety, quality, efficiency, and cost performance. 

  • Collaborate across departments to analyze processes and recommend improvements. 

  • Attend professional development activities, including a professional development week at our corporate headquarters in Colorado.  

  • Meet regularly with plant leaders through weekly check-ins and mentorship opportunities. 

  • Gain exposure to production and support teams while developing leadership skills. 

  • Follow all plant safety practices, SOPs, and policies. 

 

Who We Are Looking For 

  • Current students pursuing a bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline at an accredited 4-year college or university. 

    • And has completed at least one year of coursework with a graduation date of December 2027 or later 

  • Students interested in pursuing a career in manufacturing and entering the workforce directly after undergrad.  

    • And able to work in a fast-paced 24/7 environment, including 12-hour shifts on the plant floor when needed. 

  • Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Compensation & Benefits: 

  • Expected Houry Rate:  $28.00   
  • Onsite Work Environment: This requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site. Travel and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.
