What You'll Be Doing

  • Support daily aggregate mining and production operations through hands-on field experience.
  • Assist with safety, environmental, and operational compliance initiatives.
  • Collect, analyze, and report operational data to support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership and cross-functional teams on production and maintenance projects.
  • Participate in problem-solving activities that improve operational efficiency, quality, and performance.

  • Demonstrated interest in mining, geology, engineering, construction materials, or related fields.
  • Ability to analyze information, identify solutions, and support operational decision-making.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work across diverse groups.
  • Commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to adapt, learn quickly, and perform effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in both office and outdoor aggregate mining environments.
  • Regular exposure to varying weather conditions, moving equipment, and active production areas.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in designated work areas.
  • Moderate walking, standing, climbing, and lifting may be required throughout the internship.
  • Travel between operational areas within the site may be necessary.
