About the Role


Agtegra Cooperative is seeking IT Infrastructure Interns in Aberdeen, SD for the summer of 2027.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Infrastructure

  • Conduct market research on cutting edge technology.
  • Assess current hardware and make suggestions and updates as needed.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure team to gain insights into ongoing projects and improvements. 
  • Assist in Helpdesk and hardware/software support and maintenance (Server/PC/Mobile Device).

Security

  • Monitor and investigate security alerts for remediation, root cause analysis, tuning, and reporting.
  • Perform research, testing, documentation of solutions to satisfy security objectives.
  • Assist with review and testing of business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response plans.
  • Assist with security assessment of products, services, and vulnerabilities.


  • Adheres to all safety regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations, the vehicle policy and fleet safety program, and DOT regulations. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of security principles, NIST framework, CIA Triad etc.
  • Ability to follow detailed and high-level directions to accomplish an end goal.
  • Understanding of endpoint security, intrusion detection, firewalls, content filtering, etc.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. 
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • English proficiency. 
  • Valid Driver's License.

The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
