Intern Strategy & Transactions - Amsterdam (m/f/d)

What we look for:

• You support our Amsterdam team with strategic analyses, client materials, and local business development initiatives.
• You conduct market, industry, and competitor research and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and relevant developments.
• You support prospecting and lead-generation activities by identifying potential private equity clients, portfolio companies, and other business opportunities through desk research.
• You contribute to transaction-related projects, including commercial and digital due diligence, strategic analyses, market assessments, and digital business model evaluations.
• You explore digital business models and emerging technologies, including AI, and assess their relevance for investors and businesses.
• You prepare reports, slide decks, presentations, proposals, and other materials for client projects, investor analyses, and pitches.
• You maintain and expand internal knowledge resources, including best-practice materials, slide libraries, benchmarking databases, and whitepapers.

What we require:

• You are currently pursuing a degree at a university (ideally in the Netherlands), in management, economics, computer science, or a related field, and achieve excellent academic results.
• You ideally have initial practical experience in strategy consulting, transaction advisory, business development, or project support.
• You demonstrate strong analytical skills and a structured, detail-oriented working style.
• You have strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
• You are curious about digital business models, emerging technologies, AI, and market dynamics.
• You work independently, reliably, and proactively and take ownership of your work.
• You communicate clearly and enjoy working in a team.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
