Position Overview
An exciting internship opportunity has arisen within the MS&T Validation function at our state-of-the-art, single-use, multiproduct biotechnology facility in Dunboyne. The MS&T Validation Intern will support the validation team in cleaning validation execution, documentation, data review, and capacity improvement activities within a regulated GMP manufacturing environment.
This role will provide practical exposure to technology transfer, site validation activities, investigations, risk management processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration. Working under the guidance of experienced MS&T engineers and technical specialists, the intern will develop foundational knowledge of GMP, process validation, cleaning validation, and site operations.
What You Will Do
Bring energy, curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a collaborative mindset to support the following activities:
- Support cleaning validation and process validation activities, including documentation preparation, data collation, sample coordination, and report support.
- Assist with project activities, action tracking, documentation updates, and operational readiness tasks under supervision.
- Support technology transfer, new product introduction, and site validation activities by preparing information, capturing actions, and following up on assigned tasks.
- Contribute to investigations, risk assessments, and structured problem-solving activities by gathering data, performing basic analysis, and documenting observations.
- Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders across MS&T, Operations, Quality, Engineering, and supporting functions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including opportunities to improve ways of working, increase efficiency, and strengthen right-first-time execution.
- Develop familiarity with lean tools, data analysis approaches, GMP documentation practices, and validation lifecycle principles.
- Actively seek feedback, apply learning, and take ownership of personal development throughout the internship.
- Support an inclusive team culture where diverse perspectives, respectful collaboration, and continuous learning are encouraged.
What You Will Learn
