About the Role

Job Description

The Digital Manufacturing Operations (DMO) Intern will support digital transformation, automation, and operational technology initiatives across the manufacturing site. The role provides exposure to manufacturing automation systems, data analytics, digital solutions, process improvement, and emerging technologies used within a GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team supporting manufacturing, engineering, quality, and operations to deliver projects that improve efficiency, data visibility, system reliability, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support digital manufacturing and automation projects across the site.
  • Assist with configuration, testing, and deployment of manufacturing digital solutions.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using site data sources.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to simplify and automate processes.
  • Assist in gathering, analysing, and presenting operational data.
  • Participate in digital transformation initiatives including AI, automation, and system integration projects.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and IT stakeholders.
  • Support documentation, training materials, and knowledge management activities.
  • Contribute to troubleshooting and problem-solving activities under supervision.

Candidate Profile

  • Currently pursuing a degree in: Automation Engineering Chemical/Biopharmaceutical Engineering Computer Science Data Analytics Software Engineering Electrical Engineering Manufacturing Systems Or a related discipline
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in automation, digital technologies, manufacturing systems, and data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
