Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Logistics Intern to join our Supply Chain & Logistics team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for a Bachelor's or Master's student to gain hands-on experience within a global healthcare organization while supporting logistics operations, supply chain activities, data analysis, process improvements, and project initiatives.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to support inbound logistics, materials flow, reporting activities, and operational excellence projects that contribute to the efficient delivery of life-saving medicines and vaccines.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Supply Chain Support
- Support daily logistics and supply chain operations across manufacturing and distribution activities.
- Assist with inbound logistics coordination and materials flow management.
- Monitor inventory movements and support logistics performance tracking.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure timely product movement.
- Help identify and resolve operational and supply chain challenges through analytical problem-solving.
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Collect, validate, maintain, and analyse logistics and supply chain data.
- Perform data entry and database management activities while ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Microsoft Office and other data analytics tools.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on reporting and trend analysis.
- Support KPI tracking and logistics performance measurement.
Process Improvement & Project Support
- Participate in logistics and supply chain improvement initiatives.
- Support process mapping, documentation, and continuous improvement projects.
- Assist project managers with planning, coordination, tracking, and reporting activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance service performance.
- Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to business challenges.
Administration & Documentation
- Maintain accurate logistics records and document management systems.
- Support general administrative activities, personnel administration, and office management tasks.
- Prepare meeting materials, presentations, and project documentation.
- Coordinate training materials and provide support for technology-based logistics systems where required.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work effectively with supply chain, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and other cross-functional teams.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Support knowledge-sharing and training activities within the department.
- Demonstrate effective prioritization and workload management in a dynamic environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated interest in supply chain, logistics, healthcare, or pharmaceutical operations.
