Job Specification: Marketing Intern – Oncology Business Unit

Location: Dublin
Duration: 6 months

Reports to: Marketing Lead

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our Oncology Business Unit. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical marketing within a dynamic and impactful therapeutic area. The successful candidate will support the marketing team in executing strategic initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of oncology products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and promotional materials for oncology products.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to support marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Sales, and Patient Access to gather insights and align marketing efforts.
  • Support digital marketing activities including social media, email campaigns, and website content updates.
  • Help organize and coordinate internal and external events such as webinars, and conferences.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and marketing collateral as needed.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics and provide actionable insights.
  • Perform administrative tasks to support the marketing team’s daily operations.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and oncology is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
